Here you can find out what things our staff can help you with. YOU are the decision maker and so YOU can decide what help you want. We are here to help you, along with other people that work with you, decide what it is that will help you with the things that you find difficult. There are MANY things we can support you with so if you can't see something on the list below it doesnt mean we can't do it. JUST ASK!
• working with you to help identify what things you find difficult
• exercises to help you with your memory, planning and organisation- these are always fun!
• helping you talk through any problems your might be having with your family and friends
• helping you understand what has happened to your brain and what this means for you
• budget planning and support with finances to make sure everything is paid ontime
• menu planning and shopping• building up your confidence and letting you know when things are going well
• help you to set personal goals, these can be anything you like from being able to bake a cake on your own to completing a university course or return to work.
• help with planning social and leisure activities, and we even take part with you
• taking you to appointments and explaining things to you when you may not understand
• help with keeping in touch with friends and having a social life • general emotional support on those bad days when you may not feel like doing anything
• if you are finding things difficult at work or at college we can help you find ways of making it easier for you.
