Our services are desiged to support individuals living with traumatic or acquired brain injuries and neurological illness. To ensure that each of our clients' psychological, physical and emotional needs are addressed, The BIS Services create an unique support plan tailored to the needs of the client.

The support we provide includes but is not limitec to:

• individualised cognitive rehabilitation programs

• client education about their brain injury and its consequences to improve insight and awareness

• strategies to cope with memory loss, anger management etc

• developing and maintaining family and personal relationships

• budget planning and support with finances

• menu planning and shopping

• confidence building and positive reinforcement

• goal setting and strategy management

• assistance with planning social and leisure activities

• health promotion and access to GP/dentist

• attendance at day centres, colleges etc.

• establishing and maintaining community links

Our work with current clients includes:

• Providing the necessary evidence and information for case managers conducting legal compensation claims

• Liaising as to individuals’ best interests with Receivers appointed for them by the Court of Protection

• Offering support, advice and assistance to family members

• Liaising with community and local therapy team resources to create sustainable support networks• Advocacy

• Close links with other professionals and multi-disciplinary teams.

We provide support to individuals within various London boroughs and Kent. We would however welcome enquiries from other areas.
