The BIS Services Ltd. is a newly formed company providing community based specialist support for adults whose lives have been affected by a brain injury or neurological disorder.

We provide a flexible service centred on the specific (or identified) needs of each person. Every package of support is informed by the circumstances of each individual and designed in partnership with the person and relevant parties. We aim to promote the highest level of independence combined with the best quality of life possible.

Our work with persons deemed not to have capacity is consistent with the Code of Practice implemented on 1st April 2007 ahead of the introduction of the main provisions of the Mental Capacity Act 2007, on 1st October 2007. We are aware of the underlying principles of the Act, the main provisions of this important new piece of legislation and the potential impact on the people with whom we work.

Upon referral we will consider any relevant assessments and medical, legal and rehabilitation reports. Following a joint visit with the individual and the referrer we will devise an individually crafted proposal for consideration
